First Chapter By Anthony James Barnett In order to fully appreciate a new novelist, sufficient material should be made available for readers to be able to assess the quality and readablity of the work. Browsing in a bookshop is the old way of doing this. When a book is mainly available on the internet this can be difficult. Amazon have their own system to get over the problem, but when the book is sold in many online outlets, other methods have to be explored. With this in mind, author, Anthony James Barnett has offered the whole of the first chapter of his debut novel, 'Without Reproach' on his website, http://www.anthonyjamesbarnett.co.uk Maybe more authors should follow suit.

My wife, Adrianna Dane, reads the first chapter of her books and uploads it as a free podcast. People love to download Free podcasts and listen to them on there Ipods. Of course then they are hooked and have to buy the book. (grin) This goes well with your title of your website.
