La Luna, Alcalali By Anthony James Barnett If you are taking a vacation on the Costa Blanca, Spain and are looking for entertainment, look no further. Saturday nights at La Luna bar in the small village of Alcalali, in the Jalon valley is a must. Okay, so most people won't even know of Alcalali, or Jalon, but if you are one of the lucky few who visit (and Lynda Bellingham has been to the area so the rich and famous DO know of Jalon) then give it a whiz. We live in the area and visit on regular occasions so can vouch for the place. There is a welcome for all, great outdoor area, a comfortable lounge and a pool table for the interested. Excellent food is available and drinks are reasonably priced with good measures. Published in magazines, summer-specials, international competitions, stories broadcast on radio and recorded for 'Talking Newspapers' since 1994.
